What I Get to Call Work

Emily Preston, Water Technology Specialist at the Global Aid Network, works in a cubicle in Dallas.  Sometimes.
That may not sound exciting at first, but it just so happens to be the job that I've dreamed of doing for years.  My primary ministry focus is clean water.  I touch areas like well-drilling, well pump repair, and water filters as well as sanitation and hygiene education.  Around the office I'm known as "The Water Girl".(It's currently a department of one).
For now, I am in the cubicle learning like crazy, direction-setting for a program that's been on hiatus for a bit, and helping get new water ministry projects going in a handful of countries.
Soon I hope to travel beyond the cubicle to visit some of our current partner countries in Africa.  Seriously, when I say, "leave the cubicle," I mean it!

How incredible is it that I get to be part of turning this....

into this?

You can be a part of it, too, by  joining my team of ministry partners. Your financial support of "The Water Girl" will enable me to devote my full-time attention to developing and expanding the reach of GAiN's clean water, sanitation and hygiene ministry.
